Ecommune is a community system of 100 to 150 members. They receive free housing and access to services in trade of maintaining these together. The main focus is to work together, get stuff done and reduce the impact on the environment. The community is able to run 100% off the grid, but still has good connections to capitalist society.

Because money is no longer needed for survival, negative things like fear of not being able to ‘keep up’ and ‘choosing the highest paying job’ are eliminated. Instead, members can focus more on mental health, working jobs they prefer and having more impact on their direct environment. This increases life satisfaction and gives a feeling of purpose, whilst also enabling lesser-abled people to participate in society.

The community is focused on working together in solidarity. Coaching, groups and smart use of technology make sure everyone can live a stress free and easy life. Rules and regulations protect a clear line in what’s tolerated and what the consequences are if trespassed. Each member looks out for each other and has the power to make choices, rather than follow blindly what a select few people dictate.

Overall, Ecommune is a solution to the most common problems we face in the 21st century. Humanity thrives when we work together.

2024 Autivinder Finalist

Ecommune has been so well received, it became one of the finalists of the Autvinder Competition 2024! This competition showcases the great ideas and inventions thought up by the neurodiverse; Showing what people - who's brains work just a little bit different - can manage to create.

With Ecommune scoring so high that it achieved the finals, this gives the recognition that we have a solution on our hands. Especially to those which get easily discarded from society due to their alternative way of thought.
